Sambal Goreng Topping

Ahhh Sambal! Sambal's are from Indonesia and are super spicy chili pastes, or chopped up toppings. Used to add massive amounts of heat and flavor to a meal, usually as a topping but sometimes as part of the recipe. There are hundreds of varieties of Sambal and we hope to carry more of them eventually! This one is a fairly straightforward (but not average) shallot/garlic/chili topping in a dry format. It is phenomenal, spicy as hell, and completely addicting. We find ourselves reaching in the jar throughout the day just to eat it by itself. Throw this on almost anything to add some heat and shallot flavor. Props to you, Bungkus Bagus!
